hey all: love this concept of developing visions and mission for GCI collectively! feel like a visionary already..:)

To start us off: some dictionary definitions of the word Mission
1. From www.m-w.com Mission is defined as: "a preestablished and often self-imposed objective or purpose"

2. From education.yahoo.com: "An inner calling to pursue an activity or perform a service; a vocation."

so the objective or purpose of GCI would be to - (taking some cues from the discussions with Scott) bring together, work together and interact with various agents of progressive and green ideas to catapult toward a greener 21st century.

to start with i am thinking of some words like - synergies, transformation, green, interaction.......
