General Notes
A few initial thoughts that i would like to put down here regarding this would be: To identify legal issues or concerns as related to
Zoning i.e. what would the ratio of residential buildings to business buildings look like (would there be an ideal ratio for an effective ecocity design or would it be a flexible ratio) ? what would be the permissible proximity of these different buildings; a proximity that promotes fuel efficiency and conservation?
Real Property or Land: Covenants for land/property owners that would be in keeping with the spirit and sustainability of an Ecocity
Design Issues: Earthquake intelligent/friendly designs;
Government: Would the government offer any incentives or benefits for Ecocity developments?
